VSee says that unlike other providers, its solution requires no special hardware. All that is needed is a PC and off-the-shelf webcams, with no need to spend $250,000 per room and pay for massive infrastructure upgrades. The VSee network sensing approach allows up to 4 HD videos to be sent and up to 8 HD videos to be received over a single Verizon 4G wireless device. In addition to HD telepresence, VSee also offers a full suite of collaboration tools that allows people to get work done just as though they are sitting side-by-side.
