CeeLab's Even Zimmer comments on ISE 2012

8th February 2012: Here’s what Even Zimmer of CeeLab had to say about ISE 2012:

How was ISE for you?
EZ: A great place to meet many partners and customers as well as showing our products.

Is ISE delivering the right audience - quantity and quality?

EZ: I believe so. This year, the collaboration booths were positioned in Hall 12 instead of as a part of one of the larger halls, with more traffic. Hall 12 is also next to the transport hallway between the two major parts of the RAI centre. So, the quantity is lower than it should be, but little time is wasted as the leads taking the tour of Hall 12 are then of good quality.

From your visitors point of view, what was your most interesting offering? What sort of feedback did you get?

EZ:  Still many people do not know about CeeLab carrying the Sony VC technology in our portfolio, so for those people this was probably the most interesting. Visitors that do know CeeLab got a better demonstration of our Bow products (non-Sony) as well as our cloud based services just launched.

How much potential new business did you identify at the show?

EZ:  Hard to say, but if the show makes us attract 2-3 new partners, they can generate  a significant added business.

How do you see the UC/VC market developing over the next year? What will we all be talking about in 2013?

EZ: Ha, this is what we’re supposed to ask you! I believe the Cloud will still be a big thing in 2013.

What could the organisers do for 2013 that might make ISE even better?
EZ: Not allow LifeSize to block the view of all exhibitors behind them by having banners and constructions going from floor to ceiling.
