Talk & Vision, independent  Netherlands-based specialist in visual communications and managed video services has introduced Personal Video. This new service, which requires only low-cost investment, enables HD-quality videocalls from the user’s personal desktop or laptop (Windows or Mac) at any location, including airports, hotels, cafés or at home. Tablet-support for the service will be offered soon.

Personal Video supports videoconferencing and telepresence systems using Cisco (Tandberg), Polycom and other standards-based videoconference solutions. With low monthly costs and high user convenience, Personal Video makes videoconferencing more accessible to companies of all sizes.

Personal Video eliminates the need for companies to set up their own videoconferencing infrastructure, enabling cloud-based connectivity for all Personal Video users as well as users of standard H.323/SIP videoconferencing systems. In addition, users are granted access to an address book through their own account, which makes for seamless set-up of connections. Personal Video also includes an application for exchanging content via screen-in-screen functionality. Personal Video can be extended with MAVIS Meeting Room to enable simultaneous communications with multiple relations.
