The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in conjunction with Neotel, has opened South Africa’s second public TelePresence room.
CTICC is the first conference centre in South Africa to have a dedicated public TelePresence room. “Joining multiple TelePresence calls creates a single, exclusive meeting space. This provides innovative and effective business collaboration and contributes towards faster decision making, thus increasing productivity” said Chief Executive Officer, Rashid Toefy.
The addition of the TelePresence room is a huge value-add to delegates and will enhance the meetings and events experience, when attending an event at the CTICC. “As a leader in global best practice, especially in terms of the adoption of new technology, we aim to transform the meetings and events industry and we believe the new offering will raise the bar for all local players. Our business practices have always been underpinned by a spirit of innovation that extends to all areas of our operations, and we are excited to be the first convention centre in South Africa to introduce this service offering. At present Neotel can connect to 43 Tata Communication public TelePresence rooms accessible across the globe.
